A dynamic construction contracting business with £60m turnover is seeking a highly capable Project Manager to join their growing team. As a trusted partner in delivering industrial, commercial, logistics and retail projects (some up to £20m), the business prides itself on quality, timeliness, and a strong client-focus. You will be instrumental in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, safely, and to the high standard the company is known for.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take end-to-end ownership of allocated projects from pre-contract through to completion.
  • Manage, mentor, and coordinate multidisciplinary site teams, subcontractors, and supply chains.
  • Develop, monitor and control project programmes, cost estimates, cash flows, risk registers, health & safety compliance, quality assurance, and change control.
  • Engage and liaise with clients, consultants, design teams and local authorities as required.
  • Ensure excellent communication and reporting to senior management and other stakeholders (internal and external).
  • Maintain focus on continuous improvement: process optimisation, sustainability, value engineering.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in construction (industrial / commercial / logistics projects preferred).
  • Strong track record of delivering complex builds under tight schedules and budgets.
  • Excellent commercial acumen, with ability to forecast costs, manage risk and ensure profitability.
  • Great leadership & influencing skills; able to inspire teams and manage subcontractors/third parties.
  • Experience with BREEAM
  • Expereince with ASTA (Project programming)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Articulate, organised, decisive.
  • Relevant qualification (degree in Construction Management / Engineering or equivalent) or experience.
