They wish to appoint a suitably experienced Conference & Events Manager ..

Role Overview
The Conference & Events Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering exceptional luxury events, conferences, and corporate functions. You will play a key role in ensuring every event reflects four-star standards, impeccable attention to detail, and world-class guest experiences.

Working closely with Sales, Food & Beverage, and Operations teams, you will manage the entire event process- from initial enquiry through to post-event follow-up.

Key Responsibilities
Event Planning & Coordination
Lead the planning and delivery of conferences, meetings, private events, and luxury social occasions.
Manage all stages of event coordination including site inspections, proposals, contracts, communication, and on-the-day management.
Tailor events to client needs while upholding brand standards.
Prepare detailed event orders, timelines, and communication briefs for internal teams.
Client Relationship management
Act as the primary contact for all event clients, ensuring exceptional service at every stage.
Build strong relationships with corporate accounts, event planners, and high-profile guests.
Conduct post-event evaluations to ensure satisfaction and identify repeat business opportunities.
Operational Excellence
Oversee event setup, room layouts, décor, AV requirements, and service standards.
Coordinate with Banqueting, F&B and Front Office to ensure flawless delivery.
Ensure compliance with all health & safety and luxury hospitality standards.
Sales & Revenue Management
Achieve event revenue targets through strategic upselling and pricing.
Contribute to annual sales and marketing plans for the events department.
Manage event budgets, forecast revenue, and maintain accurate financial reporting.
Leadership & Team collaboration
Support and develop the Conference & Events team to maintain high performance levels.
Work cross-functionally to ensure clear communication and cohesive service delivery.
Champion the hotel's culture, values, and luxury positioning.
On-the-Day Coordination
Be available on-site during weddings and key events to ensure seamless operations.
Work with clients to understand their vision and provide expert guidance.
Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers to execute events flawlessly.

Essential Skills & Experience
Minimum 3 years' experience in events management, ideally within a luxury 4- or 5-star hotel.
Proven experience delivering high-end events with excellent attention to detail.
Strong commercial acumen and experience meeting revenue targets.
Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple events and remain calm under pressure.
Proficiency with event management software and CRM systems.
