Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily site activities, including civil works, concrete, foundations and utilities.
- Lead and manage site operatives and subcontractors, ensuring productivity, discipline, and adherence to site rules.
- Ensure works are carried out in accordance with construction drawings, method statements, specifications, and quality standards.
- Actively monitor site progress, identify issues early, and implement corrective actions to maintain programme targets.
- Maintain a strong site presence, providing hands-on guidance and resolving day-to-day construction challenges.
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements, ensuring safe systems of work are followed at all times.
- Conduct toolbox talks, daily briefings, and site inductions as required.
- Coordinate with engineers, QA/QC teams, and other discipline supervisors to ensure seamless integration of works.
- Carry out site inspections and quality checks, ensuring defects are identified and rectified promptly.
- Ensure materials, plant, and equipment are available and used efficiently on site.
- Assist with inspections, surveys, and handover activities, including snagging and close-out of CSA works.
- Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, progress updates, and safety documentation.
- Support the Project Manager and Construction Manager with planning, sequencing, and reporting of CSA activities.
Qualifications | Certs:
Time Served or construction management degree or similar.
Responsibilities:
A civils Site Foreperson / Supervisor is required for work in South Co. Dublin, the successful candidate will be joining a civils team undertaking working on a pharma Project.
