Job Summary
The Silver Tassie Hotel is seeking two experienced Chef de Partie to join our busy, high-quality kitchen team. The successful candidates will be responsible for running a designated section of the kitchen, maintaining high food standards, and supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, cook, and present dishes to a high standard in your assigned section
Ensure consistency in quality, portion control, and presentation
Assist with menu development and daily specials
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of your section at all times
Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety, and health & safety regulations
Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering where required
Train and support Commis Chefs and kitchen assistants
Work effectively as part of a fast-paced, professional kitchen team
Requirements
Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef de Partie ready to step up
Experience working in a hotel or busy restaurant kitchen
Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining high standards
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster, including weekends
