Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

The Business Development and Marketing Rep will be directly responsible for the early sales research building Lead opportunities that can be converted to meetings or first contact calls;

You will also be required to manage all aspects of sales related administration for the Digital Solutions business, updating CRM, maintaining meeting calendars and ensuring sales documentation is filed and stored as per agreed business process;

You will also be required to support online digital presence on Linked In, Twitter and the Web;

Liaise and work closely with the Co-Founders and the MD of digital solutions for the co-ordination and alignment of sales activities;

Leverage research skills to mine data to find suitable key contacts across a range of business sectors that can be targeted for marketing and sales contact;

Support the other business leaders in pipeline building and sales research;

Use tools like, Linked In, Web search and other industry sources of data to help build lead data to be loaded into CRM solution (Customer Relationship Management);

Maintain and keep up to date our CRM tool (Zoho) ensuring contact information and other data fields are uploaded and accurate. Ensure all leads are manged through the sales cycle and updated at all times;

Be able to run regular sales reports and provide information for sales meetings;

Co-ordinate and maintain the calendars and schedule of the Digital Sales team;

Phone possible customers or head office numbers to confirm or establish contact details for target leads;

Depending on experience you may also be required to call customer prospects to arrange meetings.

 

Experience/Qualifications Required:

The role is to work closely with the Managing Director, Customers and other leaders in the business to build sales pipeline, research market sectors, support the MD in setting and securing meetings and general sales administration support;

The ideal candidate is one who demonstrates an eagerness to learn, has good inter personal skills and can show a talent for research and organised structured administration skills.

You will be the anchor point for sales research and administration and will be critical in building early sales pipeline for the digital business;

You will be familiar with all Microsoft packages including Excel and Word;

Be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience of social media platform usage.

 

 

This role may suit a recent graduate with a business or marketing degree OR someone who has some relevant work experience that can demonstrate suitability for the role, strong communication skills and someone who will be motivated by hitting targets. Your work/education history should demonstrate job stability and experience from a business admin education program and or outbound sales type roles;

You will be organised and structured and a good team player with strong problem-solving skills;

You will be fluent in English with excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills and have a positive “can do” attitude.
