Vacancy: Building Surveyor
Location: London
3D Personnel currently have the opportunity for a Building Surveyor to undertake stock condition surveys on multiple underground stations. There is between 6-11 months work available.
Requirements:
- You must have a valid Chartered Membership with either RICS or CIOB
- You must have a minimum MCIOB / MRICS which can be demonstrated immediately
- You will undergo a medical test and some basic training (trackside, lift & escalator)
- You will work 8 hours a day Monday – Friday with a 30 minute break
- You must wear hi-vis vests, helmets (provided) & safety shoes
Roles & Responsibilities:
The Building Surveyors will work in pairs and will be responsible for;
- The measurement of the stations layout
- Capturing data onto a pre-programmed I-pad (these will be supplied)
- Photographing the condition of the assets in each room of the station. The scope of the items to be surveyed;
- Ceilings - Solid / Suspended
- Doors – Automatic Sliding / garage
- Shutters – automatic / Roller
- Floor – Matwell / Ramp
