Building Services Engineer (Pre-Construction)

3D Personnel are working alongside one of Irelands leading main contractors. Due to their continuous growth, they are actively seeking an experienced Building Services Engineer (Pre-Construction) to join their Dublin based team on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working within the M&E team, the Building Services Engineer (Pre-Construction) focus initially on projects recently awarded for activities concerned with Mechanical/Electrical.
- Identify effective Mechanical/Electrical elements of the project.
- Provide accurate and informed reporting of the project to Management and Project teams.
- Assist the Senior Services Manager and Design Manger on the project
Specific Requirements
- M&E background and/or a Third Level qualification in either Mechanical/Electrical or Building Services Engineering preferred.
- 4+ years’ experience in a similar role is essential –
- Previous Main Contractor experience is preferred, ideally projects experience in Health Care/Pharma/Industrial/Data preferable.
- Good Knowledge of Installation and commissioning.
- Excellent IT skills – knowledge of Revit/BIM, Microsoft.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational / planning skills.
- Ability to self-manage, prioritise, and work to tight deadlines.
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
