Position: BIM Coordinator
Location: Dublin
Reporting to: BIM Manager
Salary: €50K - €55K +_ package
Duties:-
- Quality control and monitoring of all subcontractor BIM models/drawings as well as Collaboration and Coordination with other disciplines design-changes and model challenges
- Production of weekly clash detection reports through BIM360 Glue, BIM360 Field and Navisworks
- Model validation against site As-built conditions for all stakeholders
- Organising AIR meetings with all teams and the client representative for the preparation of the AIM models
- Manage the collation and input of asset information to the asset information models for handover at project completion
- Assist the project Document Controller in maintaining the CDE in accordance with PAS 1192-2 protocols
- Ensure construction documents accuracy based on discipline BIM Modelling
- Producing the Construction models with the correct model geometry, level of detail and
level of information, as per the NBSToolkit for the final project delivery
- Creating a pre-construction Cluster Mock-up “Digital Twin” model, being used as a guide for the further construction of the project. Including:
- classification of all the maintainable assets using the BIM Interoperability tools through Revit
- application of the COBie tools and populating the COBie parameters to all the maintainable assets through Revit
- creation of Equipment sets through BIM360 Glue for all assets
- transfer of all the equipment sets from BIM360 Glue to BIM360 Field for the mapping of the sets and the creation of QR codes, ready to be scanned on site
You will require:-
- 2+ years’ experience of working on multi- disciplinary projects with BIM level 2 standards.
- Degree qualified in construction, computing or related discipline.
- Full membership of relevant professional body.
