Bid Manager (Civil)

3D Personnel are currently recruiting for a Bid Manager for a leading Main Contractor who are strengthening their pre-construction team and are seeking a Bid Manager to oversee the technical submissions and co-ordinate the bid team for major Civil’s projects. This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced Bid Manager or a Bid Writer looking for career progression.
Duties Include:
- Produce tender responsibilities Matrix and allocate duties / request additional resource if required.
- Review tender deliverables matrix produced by proposals team, and allocate owners and review progress.
- Arrange and Chair weekly review meetings and issue notes/ actions.
- Preparation of content of the tender interview presentations.
- Manage the bid budget
- Attend and chair tender adjudication / mid bid risk reviews.
Requirements Include:
- Ideally has a background in tendering and experience of bid management from opportunity identification through to project win, and will provide valuable input into opportunity qualification, win strategies, commercial discussions and design solutions.
- Must be comfortable working at a senior level and interacting with customers at senior management level
- Must be from a Civil Engineering background with ideally Tier 1 civil experience in UK /Ireland.
