Area Manager required in Dublin for a leading organisation with a high-profile portfolio across Dublin - this business is a major European player in facility management. The Role
As Area Manager, you will support the Client Services Manager in the effective delivery of multiple key contracts. You will act as the main point of contact for your portfolio, taking ownership of client relationships, service performance, staff supervision, and compliance across all assigned sites.
You'll play a critical role in ensuring KPIs, SLAs, and service standards are consistently met - with contract retention and operational excellence at the heart of what you do.
Evening site visits will be required as part of the role.

Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary contact for assigned clients, ensuring excellent communication and strong working relationships;
Conduct regular site visits and audits to ensure high standards and contractual compliance;
Provide ongoing reporting and updates to the Client Services Manager;
Support, lead, and train on-site operational teams;
Assist with onboarding, induction, and ongoing training for new staff;
Handle site-level recruitment needs where required;
Escalate HR issues appropriately and in a timely manner;
Manage payroll-related documentation with accuracy;
Coordinate annual leave and absence cover to maintain seamless service delivery;
Maintain all documentation including policies, procedures, risk assessments, and incident reports;
Ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation and promote safe working practices;
Manage stock control and support computerised stock system use;
Meet regularly with Site Supervisors to monitor performance and maintain service excellence;
Provide accurate information for ad hoc works, quotations, and additional service requirements.


What You'll Bring
Fluent English (written & verbal);
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Strong organisational and time management ability;
Calm, confident, and professional approach;
Strong problem-solving skills with a practical mindset;
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities;
Flexible attitude and willingness to conduct evening visits;
Full, clean driving licence;
Good IT proficiency - Word, Excel, Outlook essential;
Experience with computerised stock systems (desirable).

Experience Requirements
Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar operational or area management role;
Industry-specific experience is highly desirable;
SAP experience is an advantage;
Manual Handling training is beneficial.
