Opportunity for an Aftercare Manager (Residential) in Glasgow.

This person will be regular contact with the client, customers and trades team This could mean calling upon a subcontractor to return to the job to resolve defects and then providing the client with an update once the defects have been addressed.

Job Description: Aftercare Supervisor

Location: Glasgow, Scotland

Salary: £40,000 – £55,000.

On behalf of my client, I am actively recruiting for an Aftercare Manager to work on  two completed housing schemes in GlasgowMy Client is a multidisciplinary construction company working as Main Contractor, delivering an abundance of multi-million projects nationwide.

The aftercare manager must have strong communication skills and be able to connect with the client, the building or facilities managers, end users, suppliers and other stakeholders. The aftercare manager meets with project managers and contract managers to review liability issues and assess responsibilities.

Duties

  • This person will also be in regular contact with consultants and subcontractors. This could mean calling upon a subcontractor to return to the job to resolve defects and then providing the client with an update once the defects have been addressed.
  • During the aftercare phase, they may also manage suppliers and labourers still associated with the project.
  • Due to the variable nature of the role, the person should be able towork as part of a team, but should also be able to function independently.

Responsibilities

  • Arranging site inspections.
  • Updating the administrative aspects of jobs and managing assignments for supply chain and service engineers.
  • Carryout any final fix jobs which need doing such as snagging.
  • Producing status reports for review.
  • Conducting internal audits.
