Jobs in the Construction industry were at an 18-month high in December, according to Ulster Bank’s construction purchasing managers’ index.  The main driver was housebuilding activity which was at its highest level since June.  However, commercial building activity was down slightly, while civil engineering was well down.

The setback caused by the latest coronavirus lockdown is certainly disappointed.  Nonetheless we encourage everyone to restrict their movements as much as is reasonably possible.  We look forward to getting back to work in February and making 2021 a record year.
