Cork County Council announces €7m investment in infrastructure projects

Cork County Council will invest €6.4m in the Carrigaline Western Relief Road and €743,400 in the Kanturk Link.  The Carrigaline project will comprise a 750m road and a new bridge crossing the Owenboy River.  Work is expected to begin in early 2021 and will take approximately 18 months to complete.  The Kanturk project, expected to last 9 months, will comprise a 410m road with work also expected to begin in early 2021.  Tenders are currently being accepted.
