Hines investment company and APG have lodged planning permission for the second phase of the redevelopment of the Player Wills site in Dublin, which includes 732 homes. The second stage also considers the restoration of the former Player Wills building which will comprise 287 new homes, of which 240 will be shared living industrial style loft units. In September the company received the go-ahead for 404 new units on the former Bailey Gibson lands. Nonetheless, construction has not gone ahead because of a judicial review process. All going well, 1,552 much needed new homes will be delivered.
