Planning permission for a major revamp of Dublin Airport’s Terminal 1 has been filed with Fingal County Council. The plans include a major facelift of the exterior and roof, using energy efficient materials, which will improve its current BER rating of F to B3. The interior will also be renovated, particularly the top two floors, which are mainly used as offices. It is unknown, as yet, when the works will begin.
