Minister of State Hildegarde Naughton has announced the allocation of €63.5m for the construction of Cycle Paths along Ireland’s waterways in 2021.  Counties such as Limerick, Kerry, Offaly, Longford, Wexford, Westmeath, Kilkenny and Waterford will benefit from the direct and indirect jobs created.  It is also hoped that the increased visitors attracted by the projects will have a lasting positive impact on the local economies.  Local communities are encouraged to “get on their bikes!”
