Plans Submitted For Major Waterloo Scheme

Plans have been submitted to transform Waterloo's Elizabeth House site into a new multi-use development which will bring 11,000 new jobs to the area.

Designed by architects AHMM, the HB Reavis scheme aims to deliver around 1.2 million square feet of workspace, new retail and a transformed public realm next to Waterloo Station.

A key feature of the plans is the one-acre garden promenade, directly connected to Waterloo Station. Additionally, a new public route called 'Waterloo Curve' will provide a major new pedestrian street for the area which would be lined with shops and cafés.

Lambeth Council will now consider the plans.
