3D Personnel Ltd was formed in 2007 by Michael Byrne and Damian Doherty. Both Michael and Damian worked together in the recruitment industry in London before Michael moved to Ireland as a Director of large construction recruitment company. Damian moved to Southampton to open a new office and was promoted to director due to work ethics and dedication to the business.

In 2007 both Michael and Damian took the decision to give the recruitment business a real shot by Forming 3D Personnel and start trading in Cork, Ireland, within a year a new office was opened in Belfast thus starting the UK division of 3D. Offices in Southampton, Limerick, Dublin, Scotland and London were soon to follow and now 3D is currently employing over 350 staff thoughout the UK and Ireland.
